In Docked, though, most of the blur isn't very bad.īoth had pretty good campaigns imo although Doom is a lot easier to get into, replayable, and overall more adrenaline pumping. In handheld, Wolfenstein 2 has a much-worse blurring effect than Doom does (with no in-game setting to modify it like Doom does). That, and the optimization requirements for Wolfenstein 2 were steep. And Multiplayer if you like that (though really, most people play Doom for the stellar Campaign rather than the MP) You can't do NG+ or revisit old story levels with upgraded gear/weapons) with Arcade Mode and hunting for all the collectibles and Classic Doom levels. While Wolfenstein 2 is a blast to play, Doom has a lot more replayability (Wolfenstein 2 basically has the post-game assassination missions and you're done. In terms of which one to get, I would go with Doom if you had to choose just one. Id Software made some of the environment artwork and their engine was made to make the game, but Machinegames did most of the actual work and development Just so you know, Wolfenstein 2 wasn't developed much by id Software.
